Exploration/ Drilling/ Mine Planning

GMRICS conceives exploration/drilling/mining projects for GMDC and any other agencies approaching for services. The society offers essential services such as planning, executing, and preparing geological and feasibility reports and completing drilling/mine plan solutions. It also extends leadership and strategy development for short and long-term targets, objectives, and plans for exploration/drilling/mining goals. The society has a team of geologists, geophysicists, geochemists, and drilling, mining, and mineral processing engineers to execute the mineral industry-related projects efficiently.
  • Provide vision and direction for the exploration (geological, geophysical, geobotanical, and geochemical), drilling, and exploratory/commercial mining projects.
  • Plan, organise, and oversee G4 level exploration programs to identify green field areas.
  • Develop green field areas to the G1 level with end-to-end solutions.
  • Guide for enhancing resources in brown-field areas with establishment up to G1 level.
  • Offer technical expertise and decision-making suggestions.
  • Evaluate exploration risks and opportunities based on technical analyses for auction-related support.
  • Design the beneficiation process and implement appropriate methodologies and procedures for optimum recovery of minerals/ore.
  • Communicate with executives, investors, regulatory authorities, local government departments, and local communities regarding exploration/drilling/mining activities to manage stakeholders.
  • Report and document on exploration/drilling/mining findings, progress, and recommendations to senior management
  • Evaluate project and due diligence to identify and mitigate exploration/drilling/mining risks.
  • Devise and oversee the development of solutions to difficulties, obstacles, and events within the area of responsibility, such as equipment failure or breakdowns, environmental issues, and emergency management.
  • Implement strategies to minimise exploration-related uncertainties.

Regulatory Compliance

Through its expertise, GMRICS ensures compliance with local, national, and international exploration/drilling/mining activity regulations. It also helps to obtain necessary permits and licenses for exploration/drilling/mining. GMRICS promotes health, safety, and environment management and transfers skills and knowledge to exploration/drilling/mining employees.
  • Compliance of exploration/drilling/mining activities with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • Priorities safety protocols and practices in exploration/drilling/mining environments to protect employees and ensure environmental sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with mining laws, regulations, and permitting requirements at local, state, and federal levels, including mine planning, closure, and reclamation obligations.
  • Provide updates about changes in mining legislation, regulatory standards, and industry practices to mitigate legal risks and maintain operational integrity.
  • Implement QA/QC protocols to ensure the accuracy and reliability of geological data and interpretations.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and audits to verify adherence to QA/QC standards.

Environment/ Forest

GMRICS, with its experienced human resources, deals with all matters connected with forests and the environment under the Forest (Conservation) Act 1980 and the Environment (Protection) Act 1986, as well as the rules thereunder, including the diversification of forest land.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during exploration/mining activities.
  • Monitoring forest/environment-related industrial trends.
  • Foster positive relationships with local communities affected by exploration/mining operations, implement community development initiatives, and support CSR programs that contribute to social and economic sustainability.
