A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was entered on the 26th May 2026 by and between the Managing Director GMDC, acting through the Chief Executive Officer of the Gujarat Mineral Research Industrial Consultancy Society (GMRICS), and Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya (DHSGV), Sagar (MP) acting through Registrar of the University.
DHSGV, established in 1946 as India’s sixteenth University and a Central University, since 2009, having been accredited Grade A+ (4th Cycle, 2023) by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore is imparting teaching and research in the various streams in the Schools of Arts, Languages, Applied Sciences, (Forensic Science & Criminology, Anthropology & Geography), Chemical Science (Chemistry), Biological Sciences (Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology), Engineering and Technology (Applied Geology & Pharmaceutical Sciences), Social Sciences, Humanities, Education, Commerce & Management, Law, Music and Fine and Performing Arts. The available experts may collaborate on projects in Gujarat, through separate specific written agreement, especially within GMDC’s mines for exploration, mining, and beneficiation.
Realising the mutual interests, the Parties have agreed on the objective of creating an institutional framework for enriching scientific endeavours in mutually agreed fields of research and training in the areas of mutual interest supported by funding through the respective institutions according to the broad framework outlined in this Memorandum of Understanding to facilitate advancement of knowledge based on reciprocity-based efforts, mutual benefits and regular interactions.
This MoU shall remain in force initially for a period of three years, however, thereafter; it may be renewed for a further period of three year by mutual consent of both the parties.
